Formula & methodology

How Room-by-Room Cleaning Time Is Estimated

On-Site Crew Time = Total Person-Hours ÷ Number of Cleaners

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Person-Hours and Crew Clock Time?

Person-Hours (man-hours) is the total labor time for payroll and pricing. If a job requires 4.0 person-hours and you send a 2-person crew, the crew finishes on-site in 2.0 clock hours.

What are standard room square footage estimates if I haven't measured?

Living rooms average 200–400 sq ft, kitchens 100–250 sq ft, bedrooms 150–300 sq ft, and bathrooms 40–80 sq ft.

Why include a Property Type Setup Buffer?

Unloading vacuums and caddies, walking stairs, and moving between rooms takes 15 to 35 minutes on every visit.
